CAROLINE'S APPROACH TO FLORAL DESIGN
When I started my career in the wedding and event industry I started with planning. That meant organizing, managing, and handling all the logistics of each event. But there was one area that turned me on more than any other and that was creating a vision.
I have the unique gift of walking into a space and seeing exactly how it will look on the day of the event, down to every last detail.
I had a burning desire to implement that vision on my own. So, viola! I did it.
Floral design is an art. It is partly learned but it is largely a part of your soul. I was blessed to have some amazing mentors who taught me mechanics and design. My inspiration comes from nature, art, emotion, and travel.
I can look at a bride and know if she is a daisy or a hydrangea; an orchid or a peony, or a mix of everything. Our designs follow no rules. We design from the heart and love every minute of it. At CLED, we like to get to know our clients. With our wedding couples, we want to know how they met, where they are from, what they do for fun, what the proposal looked like. This helps us understand their unique personalities and to better serve them. The more we know, the more we can anticipate what they want!
For corporate and social clients we want to know about the culture of their organization and what they want to achieve with each event. Again, knowing what is expected from the event and the ultimate goal of their gatherings, we can better utilize our talents in creating an event to remember.

Floral design is one element in the overall picture. It is the icing on the cake. It's the "aaah" in the "oooh aaah". And it is our absolute passion.
The initial part of the process involves sharing pins and images, so we can get a sense of what you love-the color, the texture, the style. The core of the process is getting to know you and your story. We love to watch you get excited when you describe to us how you want to carry your bouquet or how you want your ceremony backdrop to look...or not look. We love when you text us photos of something you love. It's all in the dialogue.
We then consult with our many resources to procure the best products at the best prices and quote it all out for you...completely itemized and organized. We then put our heads together to create the most stunning vision for you that works in the budget you are comfortable with.
All our floral product is custom ordered for our events only, processed in our design studio on the week of the event, and cared for diligently so your designs come out fresh and long lasting. Our design team executes everything at our studio and carefully delivers and sets up to your exact specs.
